As a child I grew up in church. My parents were seperated when I was 3 years old. My dad owned a bar and my mom was a school teacher. Mom made us go to church and dad didn't care. When I was 14 mom quit making us go to church, so I started hanging out with my brother and got involved with drugs and alchool.
This lasted until I was 20 years old, and I got tired of living my life the way it was going. Always having a great respect for God I began to seek him for giudeance, but I still did not have a personal relationship with him through his son Jesus Christ. I wasn't until I came to college and saw people how lived their life's for Jesus, and I saw what a difference that made.
The next week at our worship service I for the first time understood that my sin seperated me from God and that I could never do any thing good enough for God. There was only one thing I could do and that was turn from my sin and turn to Jesus finished work on the cross.
Since then God has transformed my life from the inside out. Praise God for the work He has and is still doing in and through my life.
