I was nine years old when I came to know Jesus in a personal relationship. I have been raised in church my entire life and it is pretty much all I have ever known. I know that Jesus died on the cross for me so that I could be forgiven for my sins. From that moment on I knew Jesus as my savior.
It was when I became active in my church youth group that I started to realize there was more to living a Christian life than going to church. I found what it meant to live a Christian life. I began to seek what God wanted me to do with my life instead of what I wanted to do with my life. I put my life in God's hands and trusted him to lead me in the right direction.
My faith in God has been a strong part of my Christian walk and without it I know that I would have fallen many times. Sure I went through many difficult times and still do but, God has forgiven meand been with me through it all. My Lord and Savior is my closest, dearest friend and I rely on him constantly. I have found over the years through growing up, moving away from home, and loosing close relationships that God is the only person that I can truly always count on.
