The Skit Guys

"We're just two high school buddies who love to sit around and make each
other laugh." That's they way Tommy Woodard describes Eddie James and
himself. The two make up the comedy team known as The Skit Guys. "I
guess you could say that we're living the dream," explains Eddie, "You
know, traveling around the country with your best friend, doing what you
love to do and having more fun then you're supposed to as an adult."
The Skit Guys are known for their "performance comedy" which is a unique
blend of comedy, drama, and improvisation. When asked to describe their
performance, the two seem a bit stymied. Tommy tries to explain, "Well,
its kind of like SNL meets Who's Line Is It Anyway meets The Carol
Burnett Show." Eddie adds in, "Yea, we do skits, we play with the
audience and we are amazed that people actually seem to enjoy watching
us act like idiots." To watch the two, you would think that anything
goes in their performance. However, they do have one rule, "No MIME!"
According to The Skit Guys, "We want everyone who watches us the have a
blast, to laugh until their sides hurt and to know that the performance
will be clean and mime-free." In addition to traveling and performing,
the duo have also written numerous dramas, plays and humorous skits.
